Mercedes has launched the wagon version for C-Class
German brand has prepared also a wagon version for their fourth generation of C-Class model, that was launched last year. The new wagon model will be available on the market starting with this fall.
Mercedes-Benz Estate comes with larger dimensions, with 96 mm more long, 40 mm wider and with an wheelbase grown by 80 millimeters. Thanks to these, the passengers, especially the rear ones, enjoys by their more space for feet, head and shoulders. And continuing this line, it is necessary to mention that the boot comes with an increased space, with a volume of 490 liters and, if the rear seats folded, the total space is about 1,510 liters.
The C-Class Estate is built on the same technical platform implemented on the sedan model and is with 65 pounds lighter, compared with previous generation. As standard the car comes with rear wheel drive, but, will be available in the near future also all-wheel drive versions. As a premiere, the model is offered with optional Airmatic air suspension with auto level function. The backrest for the rear seat can be split 40/20/40 and can be folded electrically.
Another premier for this model is that the tailgate can be ordered with electric opening system without touching, as other brands, the right leg movement sensors in the rear bumper for opening / closing lid. More, the range C-Class has a new function of multimedia systems that allows the driver to pre-program the air conditioning system and check the fuel level remote. Actually in the near future, this new feature will be offered on almost all Mercede-Benz models.
Regarding the technical part, the C-Class comes with four units, all Euro 6, and with Start & Stop system as standard, and an average fuel consumption reduced with up to 20 percent.
The car will be officially unveiled, this fall at the Paris Motor Show.
